Purchase, delivery and returns.
Before payment, review the work details, checkout summary and these terms together.
Effective 2026-08-01Seller and payment
Himalaya Surprise is the brand used on this site. The seller and contracting party is 北京仲羿信息技术服务部(个体工商户), a registered business in China. PayPal processes payments for this seller and is not the seller.
In-stock availability and reservation
Every public work is in stock, available to purchase at its fixed USD price and held as single-unit inventory. Adding a work to the bag does not reserve it. Checkout rechecks that inventory immediately before creating the order; a 30-minute reservation begins only after the order is created. If an exceptional synchronization failure nevertheless makes the work unavailable after payment, the order is cancelled and the full amount received by us is returned to the original payment method.
Payment and complimentary delivery confirmation
Before payment, checkout shows the individual work, price, currency, delivery eligibility, complimentary tracked delivery, applicable duties and import taxes included under DDP, and the final total due. PayPal processes payment; the order becomes paid only after PayPal confirmation.
Dispatch and tracked delivery
Delivery is checked against the individual work, complete address and current parcel details. Dispatch within 10 calendar days after payment confirmation. After carrier handover, the confirmed service and tracking link are added to the private order page and emailed when order email is available.
DDP and import charges
Eligible checkout destinations ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid, Incoterms® 2020). Himalaya Surprise arranges and absorbs international delivery and the applicable destination duties and import taxes included in the checkout total. The recipient is not expected to pay routine import charges at delivery.
Customs cooperation
Customs or the confirmed carrier may still contact the recipient through an official channel to request identity or clearance information. No unexpected payment request should be accepted before it is checked against the official tracking record and reported to us.
Final sale and statutory withdrawal
Each work is a one-of-one object photographed and described individually. Except where mandatory consumer law provides a cancellation or withdrawal right, purchases of accurately described works are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges solely because a buyer changes their mind. Consumers in the United Kingdom, European Union or European Economic Area may notify us of a statutory withdrawal within 14 calendar days after delivery and, after notifying us, send the work back within the following 14 days. Other destination-specific mandatory cancellation rights also remain unaffected. A genuine made-to-order or personalised work may be exempt where the law allows; an existing one-of-one work is not treated as personalised merely because it is unique.
How an eligible change-of-mind return works
Contact us before sending anything. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation and approved tracked, insured return instructions. Where the law allows, the buyer pays the direct return cost for a change-of-mind withdrawal. The work, accessories and documents must be returned complete and securely packed, preferably in the original packaging. Handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the work may reduce the refund where permitted. We may withhold the refund until the work is received or valid proof of return is supplied, and any refund is made to the original payment method within the applicable statutory period.
Damage, wrong work or material discrepancy
If a parcel arrives damaged, the wrong work is delivered, or the work is materially inconsistent with the individual record shown at payment, contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours so carrier evidence can be preserved. Keep the work and all packaging and provide the order number, the shipping label, photographs of the outer and inner packaging, the complete work and the issue; an unboxing video may also help. Do not repair or return the work before written instructions are issued. The 48-hour request supports investigation and does not shorten mandatory rights.
Resolution, identity check and refund
After reviewing the individual object record, dispatch evidence and carrier record, we will offer the appropriate remedy: an authorised repair, an agreed partial refund, or an authorised return for refund; replacement is available only where a genuine equivalent exists. When the issue is verified as our responsibility, we arrange or pay for the approved tracked, insured return. Any returned work must be the same complete work in the condition received, and is checked against its individual record before refund. Unauthorised or self-shipped returns are not accepted except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Refunds are made to the original payment method; this policy does not limit rights available under applicable law or a payment provider's binding protection rules.
Refused, unclaimed and returned parcels
Where permitted by applicable law, documented return carriage, storage, customs or disposal costs caused by an unjustified refusal, failure to provide required clearance information, or an unclaimed parcel may be deducted from any amount otherwise refundable. Contact us before refusing or abandoning a parcel, including if an unexpected import-charge request appears. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Individual object record
Direct images, dimensions and other details are presented for the individual work to the extent recorded. Maker, material, place, date, provenance and condition are not inferred from a category description. Contact us before payment if a detail important to your decision is not stated.
